Yesterday we experienced a complicated day due to the massive blackout that affected a large part of the country. It is at times like these that our response capacity, excellence and commitment are put to the test.
Thanks to the work of our team and the reliability of the trigeneration plant we operate, we were able to guarantee the continuity of energy supply for the entire Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, a strategic enclave for air connectivity in Spain and Europe. Terminals T123, T4, T4 Satellite, the SATE, the APM and the Airfield were part of the critical facilities that continued to operate with our supply.
According to data from the Ministry of Transport, 93% of the scheduled flights took off and landed on Monday, April 28.
SAMPOL’s response allowed flights to operate normally at one of the most important terminals in the country.
This achievement reaffirms our mission and work culture: to secure critical infrastructures through efficient, reliable and sustainable energy solutions.
Congratulations to the entire SAMPOL team!
