The Minister of Ecological Transition and Energy of the Government of the Canary Islands, Mariano H. Zapata, accompanied by the General Director of Energy, Alberto Hernández, today visited our facilities at the Balearic Technological Innovation Park (Parc BIT).
During the meeting, we presented our capabilities in sustainable and resilient energy generation, within the framework of our participation in the energy emergency contest promoted by the Canary Islands executive, in which we have been one of the selected companies to reinforce the electricity system of the archipelago and in which we are working with the Regional Ministry to avoid new blackouts in the islands.
The visit was attended by Carmen Sampol,CEO of the SAMPOL Group, and Juan Antonio Vicens, SAMPOL’s Corporate General Manager for Energy and Projects.
