SAMPOL has been awarded the Solidarity Award at the Onda Cero Mallorca 2025 Awards for its outstanding work in the areas affected by the DANA in the Valencian Community.
Pedro Martínez and Teo Domínguez, SAMPOL technicians, were in charge of collecting the award on behalf of the company. Both were actively involved in assisting emergency services by deploying a TETRA transportable station, ensuring efficient and secure communications at a critical moment.
SAMPOL was the only private company to be part of the device sent by the Government of the Balearic Islands to collaborate in the affected areas. The TETRA transportable station deployed by SAMPOL provided a stable communications system backed up by generators and Starlink satellite connectivity, thus facilitating rescue and coordination work on the ground.
The Onda Cero awards annually recognize the efforts and trajectory of people and entities that contribute significantly to the Majorcan society in multiple categories.
This award reinforces SAMPOL’s commitment to solidarity and technological innovation at the service of society, consolidating our position as a benchmark in communication and energy solutions in emergency situations.
