On Sunday, 29 October, the March Against Cancer took place, sponsored by SAMPOL. This initiative aims to promote a healthy lifestyle, raise awareness about the fight against cancer and raise funds to support the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in its mission to drive research, improve the quality of life of cancer patients and their families and work towards eliminating the inequalities caused by cancer.
The event featured two race formats: at 10:00 am, the 8 km Open Race took place, with two laps around the circuit, and at 12:00 pm, the 4 km Popular Walk was held, a non-competitive walk covering one lap of the circuit. Both events started and finished at Avenida Antoni Maura in Palma, next to Parc de la Mar.
For another year, SAMPOL proudly supported this charity initiative, standing in solidarity with those affected by cancer. Employees from SAMPOL’s headquarters in Palma participated in both the race and the walk, showing their commitment to the cause.
