Mallorca Council has awarded the Medal of Honour and Gratitude of the Island of Mallorca to Don Gabriel Sampol, recognising his invaluable contributions to the Balearic energy sector. The medal was presented to Carmen Sampol, CEO of Sampol Group, in his honour.
During the 2023 Honours and Distinctions Awards ceremony, Llorenç Galmés, President of Mallorca Council, highlighted the achievements of individuals and organisations that “have excelled in their fields, transcended borders and carried the name of this remarkable island across the world. Their legacy is eternal. Not only for their achievements but for the values that inspire us and give us hope for Mallorca’s future.”
