At SAMPOL, we have secured a new hotel client in Mexico: Excellent Collection. The new and luxurious Hotel Excellent Coral Playa Mujeres ***** in Riviera Maya is set to open in early 2025. It is located on an expansive stretch of soft white sand within an exclusive gated community that features its own luxury marina.
Excellent Coral offers a wide range of high-end rooms and suites. These spacious accommodations will include an array of luxurious amenities, such as oversized hot tubs, in-room premium bars, private pools and sun terraces, as well as 11 restaurants and 12 bars.
For this project, we will be responsible for the following:
- The hotel’s machine room (industrial plant) for 577 rooms, with space for the future expansion of PHASE 2 of the complex. This industrial plant will supply cooling for the entire property via an 800-ton chiller and two 1,400 kW heat machines.
- Pumping of cold and hot water to the hotel. This will be supported by two 1,875 kVA generator sets.
- Medium-voltage network from the supply company’s connection point in Mexico, running through five transformer stations, with our scope covering installation of the MV-LV transformer.
- Main connections for chilled water, cold and hot water, and fire protection systems running through the complex’s underground galleries.
- Installation of the fire-suppression system for the industrial building, including fire detection.
This hotel is set to become one of Excellent Collection’s most sought-after properties, combining its stunning location with the brand’s renowned all-inclusive offering.
