Work has been completed at the UNVRS nightclub in Ibiza, where SAMPOL has installed and configured XGSPON and WiFi equipment to provide the best wired and wireless data service to the building.
The venue, located in San Rafael, already has state-of-the-art technology that allows for customized and interchangeable production for each event, taking every aspect of the experience beyond the limitations of superclubs.
SAMPOL’s intervention for this project consisted of the design and implementation of a new POL (Passive Optical Network) infrastructure and the deployment of a state-of-the-art WLAN network.
The new LAN has been designed with maximum performance in terms of service density, scalability, mobility, redundancy and versatility, allowing it to adapt to a constantly changing environment and guaranteeing a long period of obsolescence. It is based on the design concepts of the new high-performance networks known as POL (Passive Optical Network) or F5G class network (Fifth Generation Fixed Network).
Once the project is completed, as of May 30, we will incorporate this project into our NOC. The main function of SAMPOL’s Cognitive Network Operations Center (Cognitive NOC) is to guarantee the availability, performance and security of the technological infrastructures we manage. We currently have an inventory of 50,700 IT devices, of which 46,977 are proactively monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
