On 20 February, our CEO, Carmen Sampol, was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 Award for the Balearic Islands by EY, a global leader in audit, tax, strategy, transaction advisory and consulting services.
Carmen Sampol will now compete in the final round of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award, which will take place on 14 March in Madrid. She will be among the eight regional winners – and the only woman – contesting the national title.
Now in its 27th edition in Spain, the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, organised by EY in collaboration with IESE, aims to provide well-deserved social and institutional recognition to entrepreneurial business leaders. These are individuals who, through their vision and dedication, drive wealth creation and employment across the country.
In her acceptance speech, Carmen recalled that Don Gabriel Sampol was the recipient of this very same award in its first edition in 1996 and expressed her pride in receiving the same honour 28 years later.
