The ISO 50001 certification recognises that SAMPOL has an energy policy in place and effectively manages the energy-related aspects of its operations, resulting in real and measurable energy cost savings.
Being ISO 50001 certified provides us with the tools needed to identify activities that consume the most energy and represent an “energy and financial drain”. Once these have been identified, a plan of action will be implemented to minimise energy consumption in our own facilities and systems in an integrated manner, while maximising their energy efficiency. This will contribute to more efficient and sustainable energy use.
