The new hotel brand Zel, created by two renowned Mallorcan names – Meliá Hotels International and tennis star Rafael Nadal – has awarded SAMPOL the refurbishment project for Hotel Zel Cala Blanca, located in Palmanova, Mallorca. This is the first hotel of the new chain. This stunning adults-only beachfront hotel, classified as a 4-star property, reinforces the area’s luxury tourism model.
The project involves a comprehensive renovation of 80 rooms, including:
• Air conditioning and ventilation renewal: Supply and installation of fan coils and air ducts.
• Plumbing and sanitation: Installation of new piping and sanitary elements.
• Electrical and special installations: New interior layout, supply and
installation of fittings and lighting.
• Fire protection: Installation of detection systems and passive protection measures.
The renovation will also extend to the hotel’s common areas, including a new reception and lobby area, a new main kitchen and dining area, a wellness zone and the installation of general hotel systems.
The project is scheduled to take four months, with the hotel’s grand opening expected in May 2023.
