DESCRIPTION: Trigeneration plant running on island mode based on two natural gas combustion engine generators with a heat recovery system to produce domestic hot water and chilled water to supply hotel demand. The plant is integrated with a 2.6 MWe photovoltaic installation. A 2 x 900 m3 /day desalination plant and a 120 m3 LNG regasification plant are also part of the scope.

- 2 x 1,500 kWe natural gas Jenbacher gensets.
- 2,600 kWe photovoltaics.
- 5 x 900 kWe diesel gensets (back-up).
TOTAL ELECTRICITY GENERATION: 10.100 kWe.
HEAT PRODUCTION (HOT WATER 140 °F)
- 1,650 kWt heat exchanger.
- 1,500 kWt propane boiler.
TOTAL HEAT GENERATION: 3.150 kWt.
CHILLED WATER PRODUCTION
- 1 x 450 RT exhaust gas absorption chiller.
- 4 x 425 RT water condensed centrifugal chillers, one of those is a heat pump.
TOTAL COOLING GENERATION: 7.585 kWf.
