SAMPOL started its activities in 1934, a period of important changes in Spain. After the war, mass tourism started developing in the country and on the Balearics in particular, and the economy was obliged to transform into a service economy. This led SAMPOL to redefine its business and strengthen its position within the corporate market.

During the 70s, SAMPOL commenced its expansion process and went beyond the island borders, inaugurating district offices in the main Spanish cities. Later, during the 90s, the acknowledgement that had been obtained within various economic sectors allowed the company to extend its business realm to the Caribbean area.

After this, SAMPOL transformed into a multinational company when activities were initiated in Italy, Belgium, Palestine and North Africa.
